Warranty Information

Northview outdoor Indoor Blinds ensures that the products provided and installed will not be defective and will work flawlessly for the warranted time. Warranty will cover certain products for certain conditions. The warranty includes the product itself and the installation/workmanship of the product. Please read further for details. What does the warranty not cover?

• Only the original purchaser of the product can claim the warranty. The warranty does not transfer to a new owner of the product.
• Claims other than that of the product or workmanship and on issues not paid in the original invoice.
• Wear and tear caused by the misuse of the product against its original design. (see further for details on misuse of products)
• Products that have been installed by our qualified installer and have been manipulated by an external entity.
• Products that are not installed by our qualified installer.
• Puckering of material in blinds over 2 meters in width or other damage to the fabric such as creases in the fabric, damage due to harsh weather conditions to the fabric.
• Mesh sagging in fly screens – Scratches to aluminium parts. Misuse of the product against its original design: – Indoor blinds Mishandling of indoor blinds. This can include pulling the blinds or forcing them into positions that they are not designed to be in.
• Outdoor blinds: – Misuse of outdoor blinds includes operation during high winds, not retracting blinds into pelmets during harsh weather or high winds, using chemicals on or near outdoor blinds. Failing to maintain blinds.
• Curtains Pulling down on curtains may cause damage to the structure of the curtains.
• Plantation shutters Physical mishandling of the plantation shutters. Forcing them into positions they are not designed to be in.
• Security doors Physical mishandling of security doors or forcing them into positions that they are not designed to be in. leaving obstacles in the track of sliding security doors causing damage to the door.
• Flyscreens Physical mishandling or forcing fly screens into positions that they are not designed to be in.
